CORRELATION BETWEEN ACUTE RESPIRATORY INFECTION EPISODES AND GROWTH DURING 3 – 6 MONTHS INFANTS A STUDY IN SURUH SUBDISTRICT SEMARANG DISTRICT

Background : Acute Respiratory Infection that related with growth faltering and infant mortality rate. The objective of this study was to analized the relationship between acute respiratory infection episodes with the growth rate during 3 - 6 months in Suruh Subdistrict Semarang District
Method : This study was longitudinal studies of 120 Infants. The sampling of the methods by purposive quota. This data was collected through an interview with the infant’s mother, it’s using a structured questionnaire that also collected through an interview and observation. The following information were obtained about the infant: nutrient intake (energy and protein), parenting practice, gender infant, environmental sanitation, immunization, education mother's, household socioeconomic, acute respiratory infection episodes, growth rate during 3 – 6 months. In the statistic analysis are descriptives (mean, standard deviation, median, percentage) and inferential analysis. Analyzes the growth correlation the acute respiratory infection episodes with the figure confounding variable used double  regretion analysis of dummy variable
